From the reviews:

Łukasz Borowicz offers a subtle and inspired reading of the score, striking the right balance between romantic effusion on the one hand, and elegance, refinement and sensitivity on the other. The sound of the orchestra, by turns light and powerful, is always clear, ductile and rich in colour. The dances, so dear to Tchaikovsky, are the real gems. (Forum Opéra, Yvan Beuvard)

L’Orchestre des Pays de la Loire, transformed by the eloquent conducting of Łukasz Borowicz, breathes and sounds with an opulence and richness of colour never before conjured by that ensemble. (ConcertClassic.com, Jean-Charles Hoffelé)

The conducting of Łukasz Borowicz, meticulous and always attentive to melody and equilibrium, excels at restoring the true colours of Tchaikovsky. The precise phrasing and finely chiselled articulation he elicits from the orchestra, achieve a clarity of texture and bring out the singular charm and dynamism of this beautiful piece: the dances, needless to say, but also the lyrical passages, such as the beautiful singing of the cellos which opens the second tableau of the second act (the duel), suffused with appropriate emotion. The oboes and the horns prove capable of fine articulation in an exquisite pianissimo. And, what is particularly rewarding, instead of excessive effusion, into which this music can so easily lapse, we get power and grace. Undeniably, an unqualified triumph. (Musicologie.org, Eusebius)
